ATF St Ouen Springfield CC Welcome Fresh Faces

It has been a busy transfer window for ATF St Ouen Springfield CC as they welcome five new players ahead of the upcoming season.

The stand out is arguably Harrison Carlyon who currently holds the record for Jersey’s youngest ever player and has established himself as one of the premier players in Jersey. Dominic Blampied stated ‘Harrison joins us from Farmers CC and will add great strength to our first team line-up’.

Ouens have also signed former Jersey Under 19 Cricketer David Bourne, Dan Garton who has had many caps for Jersey, Elliot Powell who joins after leading OVs 2nd XI to back to back 40 Over title in 2019 and 2020 and finally Paul Meaker, who has joined the blue and golds as a bit of an unknown quantity having moved to Jersey from Brisbane just last year.

Blampied continued ‘David is a very strong all round player and is a welcomed addition to the club, having joined us from OVs. Dan is a talented player who has spent time away from the game due to injury, Having spent most of his career at St Ouen’s he made his way to OVs for the 2020 season so we are very pleased to welcome Dan back for the 2021 campaign.’

‘Elliot joins us seeking a new challenge, with his skills as an off spin bowler being very welcomed. Paul took no hesitation in signing with the blue and gold, adding to our Australian stock. A left handed bat, right arm medium pacer with great chat, Paul will be a great addition to the club.’
