How pleased are you that Jets are back playing games this season?

It’s been so nice to finally get back on court with the girls after a long time not playing together and not having any matches to play.

How much are you enjoying the season so far – how do you think the team are doing?

It has been really enjoyable and a nice break from uni. We’ve had some really good performances and it is great to have beaten Hucclecote the second time round.

Do you enjoy the double game weekends? How challenging are they?

It’s nice to make the most of the weekend especially when Jets have to fly over for the games. Physically, it can be challenging and can be a bit tough on the second day when your legs are sore, but it’s all worth it!

Have there been any highlights so far this season?

Probably the most recent Hucclecote game after we took the win and kept the intensity high the whole game, not letting them creep up on the score line like last time!

And how about your highlight of your Jets career so far?

It has to be my first cap which was at a home game in Jersey when I was in Year 12! It was memorable because I was so nervous, especially with a home crowd.

You were named Player of The Match last Sunday, how pleasing was that for you personally?

It was so pleasing! I was trying hard to keep on board, man on marking, so it was a nice little bonus for me!

How close is this Jets squad and how important is Linda for that?

I’d say the squad is really close because everyone has more or less grown up playing together and players usually come through from when they’re younger. Linda’s great at getting the younger players involved and comfortable with everyone despite large age gaps!

Finally, what are your goals for the rest of the season?

Our goals are to get as many wins as we can! We are really hoping to beat Aquarian’s when that match rolls around and then hopefully head off to the play offs!
