Stand Up Paddle is something a lot of people have tried over the last few years, often down the beach on a nice sunny day in a relaxed environment. Mum and son duo, Verity and Jacques Thomas take it to the next level though, as they are two stars from the island who take on the competitive side of the sport that is SUP.
Dan caught up with Verity as she returned from the International Canoe Federation Stand Up Paddle World Championships a few weeks ago!
We spoke about how the pair got on in Abu Dhabi, and how Verity would love the sport to grow here in Jersey!
