Two matches against some of Northern Ireland’s best young footballers highlighted the brilliant work local football clubs are doing with our next generation.
On Wednesday, seven different local clubs were represented for Jersey U18s, showing the brilliant work that is being done on the island, and with the added weekly coaching through Jersey Bulls Academy, it means that the players didn’t look out of place against a talented Northern Ireland Schools FA side.
St Paul’s had U16s playing in their side on Monday, and they were up for the challenge, making those watching impressed with what they saw on the pitch.
